A few years ago, if you had asked me what the best way to travel was, I would have without a doubt said by plane. However, with the amount of research I have done since then, I have come to realize that travelling by Bed and Breakfast (B&B) is a much better way to go – especially when travelling to Kuala Lumpur. There are a few reasons for this:
For starters, according to a study by the University of Southampton, staying in a B&B can actually lead to a more immersive travel experience. This is because you are able to get to know the locals better, as you are staying in their neighbourhood and not in a touristy area.
Second of all, B&Bs are often much cheaper than hotels. In Kuala Lumpur, for example, a night in a 5-star hotel can easily cost over $200, whereas you can find a B&B for as little as $50.
Thirdly, B&Bs are often much more spacious and comfortable than hotels. This is because they usually have fewer rooms than hotels, meaning that you don’t have to deal with the noise and crowds that are often present in hotels.
Finally, B&Bs often come with breakfast included, which can save you a lot of money in the long run.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend choosing a B&B over a hotel when travelling to Kuala Lumpur – or any other city for that matter. You will not only save money, but you will also have a more immersive and comfortable travel experience.
